Iowa City, Iowa -- Powered by a combined 52 points from sophomores Morgan Maly, Lauren Jensen and Molly Mogensen, the Creighton women's basketball team moved on to the NCAA Second Round with an 84-74 win over Colorado on Friday, March 18.
The win secured Creighton's (21-9) fourth straight First Round NCAA Tournament victory and will play the winner of Iowa and Illinois State on Sunday, March 20 in Iowa City, Iowa. Colorado ends their season with a 22-9 overall record.
Maly lead Creighton and tied her career-high with 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting, while grabbing a season-high eight rebounds.
