Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Rowing team saw 14 student-athletes on the 2022 CRCA (Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association) Scholar Athlete award, announced on Friday, June 24.
Earning the honor this season were Emma Carpender, Karen Crouch, Ava Edison, Ally Einbeck, Maria Fier, Honor Foutch, Grace Frechette, Mary Hartigan, Sydney Hiatt, Destiny Jordan, Rebecca Meyer, Lauren Miranda, Gretchen Strobbe and Erica Svenby.
Creighton's 14 student-athletes honored is the highest number of any school from the WCC, surpassing Gonzaga (12), Portland (11), San Diego (11), Loyola Marymount (9) and Saint Mary's (2).
