Kansas City, Mo. - The Creighton men's and women's soccer programs were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches (formerly the NSCAA) on Thursday, Oct. 5 as each Bluejay squad earned the team academic award for 2016-17.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point of average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster. It is the eighth consecutive season that the women's team has earned the NSCAA team academic award (2010-2016) as well as the 19th time in the last 21 seasons.
