Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton newcomer Dax Roper took an immediate liking to his new home as the Furman transfer blasted a pair of home runs in Creighton Baseball's first scrimmage at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha (TDAPO) this season. While Roper headlined the offense for the CU-White squad, Andrew Meggs deliverd four RBI on a pair of two-run doubles to lead CU-Blue to the 7-5 win on Saturday, Sept. 26.
In his first at-bat at TDAPO in the top of the second, Roper blasted a home run over the wall in straight center field.
