Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Baseball pitching coach Brian Furlong announced late Monday evening that he has accepted the head coaching position at Heartland Community College.
A former Bluejay player (2003), Furlong spent the past three seasons as a member of the Creighton coaching staff as the Director of Baseball Operations (2014), then as the pitching coach for the past two seasons.
