PROVIDENCE, RI – Creighton products Ty-Shon Alexander (12) and Geoffrey Groselle (6) combined for 18 points to help the BIG EAST/USA Basketball team defeat East Coast Basketball 102-64 in an exhibition game Wednesday at Alumni Hall. The contest was preparation for the BIG EAST/USA team before it travels to compete in the Pan American Games.
The BIG EAST Conference is representing USA Basketball at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, July 31-August 4. The team is practicing at Providence College before leaving for Peru on Saturday.
