Omaha, Neb. -- Continued Covid Issues within fellow BIG EAST women's programs have caused a schedule shift for the Bluejays this week. Creighton will now host Providence on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. (CT). Originally slated to host Marquette, a pause in basketball activities within the Golden Eagles' program last week left the Bluejays with an opening.
Creighton enters the newly scheduled contest with a 2-3 record in league play and 3-6 overall, while Providence is also 2-3 during BIG EAST action and 4-6 overall.
