Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton's BIG EAST series at Georgetown (April 23-25), has been moved from Shirley Povich Field to Shipley Field at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium on the campus of the University of Maryland. The change in venue is due to Montgomery County's guidelines regarding visiting teams from outside the DC/Maryland/Virginia region at Shirley Povich Field during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Hoyas and Bluejays are scheduled to play four games in three days this weekend. Weather concerns and the Maryland spring game has altered the schedule as well. The Bluejays and Hoyas will play a doubleheader on Friday, beginning at 2:00 pm (CT).
