Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton ended the fall ball season on Thursday, October 12, highlighted by more frequent inter-squad scrimmages than previous years.
The Bluejays added 24 new faces to the program this year, including 8 freshmen, 15 transfers, and a new assistant coach. The additions have proven to make a strong impact on the program offensively, defensively and on the mound.
Off the field, the Creighton baseball team volunteered with numerous organizations. One of the the more memorable came on October 4th as players were able to spend their evening with former major league great, Darryl Strawberry as he spoke at the "Breaking the Silence" annual event in Omaha.
