Omaha, Neb. -- Due to extreme cold which has left the field of TD Ameritrade Park Omaha both covered in snow and frozen, Creighton Baseball has announced the cancellation of its home opening mid-week series with Northern Colorado. The two-game set scheduled for March 5-6 will not be made up.
The weather may also impact additional games scheduled in Omaha, but as of yet no official decision has been made beyond the two opening contests.
Tickets for this cancelled games can be exchanged for any remaining regular season home games by logging on to your MyCreighton account.
