OMAHA, Neb. -- The Associated Press named Creighton's Baylor Scheierman a Third Team All-American and Ryan Kalkbrenner an Honorable Mention All-American on Tuesday. It's the first time in program history that Creighton has had two men land All-America accolades from the AP in the same season.
The recognition is the sixth different All-American recognition this season for Scheierman, who has previously been selected a Second Team All-American by Field of 68 and 247Sports, and was a Third Team choice by The Sporting News, ESPN.
