OMAHA, Neb. -- Alex Kapp was drafted by Atlantic United FC in the fourth round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft on Tuesday afternoon.
Kapp, a Third-Team NSCAA All-American, wrapped up his senior year with seven shutouts and a 0.84 goals against average. He also tallied two shutouts and a 0.85 goals against average during conference action, on his way to BIG EAST Co-Goalkeeper of the Year honors.
The Westchester, N.Y. native, played all but six minutes in goal for the Bluejays on their way to a 13-7-3 record and 24th NCAA Tournament appearance in the past 25 years.
