Omaha, Neb. -- Led by a combined 42 points from the trio of senior , junior and freshman , the Creighton women's basketball team completed a sweep of rivalry week with a 66-51 win over Nebraska-Omaha on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
The victory pushed the Bluejays to 3-4 on the season with Creighton's second consecutive win, while Nebraska-Omaha fell to 4-4 overall.
The Bluejays jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the opening moments as sophomore scored on Creighton's first possession, then Faber knocked down a three-pointer. The Mavericks, however, answered with five straight points of their own and seized a 10-7 lead with 5:38 left in the frame.
