OMAHA, Neb. -- Jaylyn Agnew, Greg McDermott and the Creighton men's basketball team were each honored with OSCAS at the second annual Omaha Sports Commission Awards on Thursday night in a pre-produced, remote ceremony after the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of an in-person event. In addition, former Creighton baseball, basketball and ex-football standout Ike Mahoney was inducted into the Omaha Sports Hall of Fame.
Agnew was named Female Amateur Athlete of the Year, McDermott honored as Coach of the Year and the men's basketball team recognized as Team of the Year.
