Omaha, Neb. -- Coming off the first appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament last season (202), Creighton women's soccer head coach Ross Paule continues to upgrade the Bluejay roster with the signings of transfer Paityn Bretzer (Southeastern Louisiana) and Iceland native Hildur Bjo¨rg Kristja´nsdo´ttir for the 2021 season.
A native of Canada (Edmonton, Alberta), Bretzer is a forward that comes to Creighton with two years of eligibility remaining. She played two seasons with the Lions, appearing in 28 matches and earning eight starts. She delivered a pair of assists in 2020 and two more in 2019.
