#24 Women’s Basketball Ends Season With 67-63 Loss to UCLA in NCAA Second Round

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Despite 52 combined points from seniors Lauren Jensen, Morgan Maly and Emma Ronsiek, the Creighton women's basketball season came to an end on Monday, March 25 as the Bluejays fell to No. 6 UCLA, 67-63 in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.

With the win, UCLA (27-6) advances to next Saturday's Regional semifinals in Albany against LSU. A start time and television next for that contest will be announced on later tonight.

Soaring out of the gates, Creighton quickly built a 10-6 lead as Ronsiek connected on a layup and a jumper, while Jensen buried a pair of three-pointers to take an early advantage.
