LARAMIE, Wyo. – Seniors Morgan Maly, Emma Ronsiek and Lauren Jensen combined for 56 points as the No. 22 Creighton women's basketball team used a second half surge to claim a 73-61 win over Wyoming on Sunday afternoon in Laramie, Wyo.
The win lifted the Bluejays to 7-1 on the season, while Wyoming fell to 4-4. Creighton has now won the last six meetings with the Cowgirls dating back to 1996.
After fighting the altitude and trading baskets early, Creighton used a 9-2 run over the final 3:25 of the opening quarter to take a 17-12 lead.
