WKU lands former TCU and Arkansas State WR Cam Echols-Luper

The Hilltopper passing game just got a significant boost as it appears Mike Sanford Jr. has landed grad transfer Cam Echols-Luper. The son of current TCU assistant coach Curtis Luper has had quite the tumultuous college career. Echols-Luper left TCU after the 2014 season where the former three-star prospect was an explosive punt returner.

Echols would land at Arkansas State to play under Blake Anderson after sitting out the 2015 season due to NCAA transfer rules. In 2016, the Auburn High School grad recorded 26 receptions for 407 yards and one TD. Echols-Luper was disappointing as a punt return, but did punt four times for 34.
