Back on June 30th, the Tops had the 7th ranked 2018 recruiting class in Conference USA per 247 Sports. Now, after adding eight more commits, including six in the last week, they have the 2nd ranked class in the league and sit at #78 in the nation.
The new commits come from some of Mike Sanford’s seemingly favorite places in Georgia and Florida, with one from South Carolina thrown in as well. Six out of the eight July commits also play on the defensive side of the ball, giving Clayton White plenty to work with for the future.
