Following the completion of their final “Friday Night Lights” summer camp, UTSA added their fifth commitment to their 2018 recruiting class with the addition of Arlington Seguin offensive lineman Terrell Haynes. The 6’3”, 267 pound prospect announced his commitment on Twitter Saturday morning.
An all-district honoree as a junior at Seguin High School, Haynes held eight scholarship offers at the time of his commitment, including offers from Navy, UNT, and Colorado State. A quick review of his highlight film shows why so many schools were willing to extend a scholarship offer to Haynes despite him weighing in at under 270 pounds.
