One bad week to close out the regular season ruined what could have been a magical season of picks on our underdogs.
Entering Week 12 with a 64 percent success rate, even an 0-5 record in that final week would have resulted in a mark over .500. Western Kentucky hit the over on that Friday night and it looked like a 70 percent rate could in the cards.
Then, Saturday happened.
Thinking it was a wise bet to play every Owls team - Temple, Rice and FAU - backfired. To cap it all off, UConn ruined the under pick with two touchdowns in the final seven minutes of the game against Boston College.
