That score alone caused some changes to the top 10 this week. First, it knocked SDSU out of the top spot, allowing USF to reclaim it. The Bulls and Aztecs remain the only two programs to hold the #1 ranking so far this season, although UCF is hot on USF’s tail, only two points behind them this week. Secondly, it allowed the Broncos to return to the top 10 after previously dropping out.
Houston’s stunning defeat to Tulsa knocked them out for the first time this season, giving Boise a path back into the rankings.
