With the recent announcement of former North Carolina offensive lineman WIll Dancy joining the program as a graduate transfer, the East Carolina Pirates now have two graduate transfers from P5 programs on the current roster.
Coprich at running back:
Jeffrey Coprich, a running back from the Cal Bears, is a California native and relative of former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. The 5-8, 175 pound player was a three-star signee to the Golden Bears out of West Ranch High School. His transfer was announced during spring practice.
Coprich redshirted in 2012, rushed for 156 yards as in 2013, missed the 2014 season due to injury, and rushed for 49 yards in 2015.
