The frantic search for head coach has come to an end at UTSA, as the Roadrunners hired former-LSU running backs coach and recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson late Thursday evening.
UTSA filled its head coaching vacancy Thursday evening with the hire of Frank Wilson, formerly LSU's running backs coach and top recruiting coordinator. As the name hadn't been floating around the grapevine recently, many were surprised to learn about the news. The overall census from the Roadrunner Faithful is a big stamp of approval.
That would be UTSA Athletic Director Lynn Hickey, post bat flip.
