The Troy Trojans successfully took down the UMass Minutemen of a score of 52-31. The Trojans move to 7-1 overall while UMass drops to 2-8. This was a back and fourth game right until the beginning of the fourth quarter when the Trojans took a 14-point lead.
UMass fought Troy hard tonight especially Andrew Ford. Ford threw the ball for 316 yards, going 23 for 44 with three touchdowns and one interception. Ford had a great performance but the team fell short. There was hardly a running game for the Minutemen as they only came away with 44 rushing yards.
