Last season in the AAC, C-USA and Sun Belt conferences there were some extremely talented offensive teams, but we also saw some underrated defenses rise up.
Eight teams finished among the top 50 scoring defenses in the nation. Due to these strong defensive units, we had multiple teams consistently playing games that fell under the total.

- Tulane, Tulsa and Temple all were strong against the under at home finishing with 4-2 records.
