The National Football Foundation announced on Wednesday that 170 players and 35 coaches from all level of college football would be on the 2017 Hall of Fame ballot.
As explained by the NFF, "The ballot was emailed this week to the more than 12,000 NFF members and current Hall of Famers whose votes will be tabulated and submitted to the NFF’s Honors Courts, which deliberate and select the class."
The class will be announced on January 6th, 2017 in Tampa, where the College Football Playoff Championship will be held. The induction ceremony will be on December 5th, 2017 in New York City.
