The NFL Draft is done and gone, which usually isn’t an exciting time for Aggies fans. 2018 was different though.
This year, the Aggies saw Jaleel Scott become the first player (and 52nd Aggie overall) drafted since Jeremy Harris was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013.
Projected as a 5th or 6th round draft choice, Scott beat expectations and was taken with the 132nd overall pick in the 4th round, becoming the highest drafted Aggie since 2011 when Davon House was taken 131st overall.
I expect Scott will make an impact immediately on special teams and will most likely be thrown in at some point during the season.
