Georgia State received verbal commits from three prospects Tuesday to bring its 2018 total to eight. Of those three, two of them were highly-recruited three-star recruits from the fertile grounds of South Florida.
The fireworks started with Miami native, three-star wide receiver Blake Veargis’ commitment. Veargis is a much-sought after prospect, holding 18 offers. Of those 18, 11 of them are from Power Five schools. Veargis chose the Panthers over Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Arizona State and North Carolina.
Veargis is a playmaker at wideout who has quick feet, making him an elusive ball-carrier who makes hard cuts in his route running.
