While the power balance of college football has shifted a bit this week, the Chanticleers had been considered the favorites against their P5 opponents since soon after this game was scheduled.
On the way to the 49-22 win, quarterback Grayson McCall completed 17 of 21 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns. Coastal’s offensive line only allowed McCall to be sacked once on the night.
