FIU has found their new head coach and it’s a familiar name in the college football world as Butch Davis will be FIU’s fourth ever head coach.
Over the past few years Butch Davis has been a college football TV analyst for ESPN however, Davis has been itching to get back in the game since being let go by North Carolina in 2011.
Davis is primarily known for roaming the sidelines during Miami’s heyday as he went 51-20 in six years at Miami. After an unsuccesful stint with the Cleveland Browns Davis wound up at North Carolina where he went was 28-23.
