It was rumored and assumed, but on Monday U.S. Soccer officially announced that the United States Men’s National Team will take on the Mexican National Team in World Cup Qualifying in Columbus, OH on Nov. 11. The match will be broadcast live on FS1 and Univision, with kickoff time still to be determined.
"It means a lot to us to play Mexico in Columbus," U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann said in the press release. "Columbus is for us what Azteca Stadium is for them. It's a game where emotions will go through the roof, and we need to have our crowd behind us bringing their voice against our biggest rival.
