Conor Casey, who played four games in 2016 with Crew SC, retired from Major League Soccer after 10 years in the league.
Casey, 35, scored 71 goals in his MLS career with Toronto, Colorado, Philadelphia and Columbus. The two-time all-star also won an MLS Cup title in 2010 with the Rapids.
He also played in the German Bundesliga and made 19 appearances for the U.S. men’s national team.
