For the third straight season, Major League Soccer and Adidas are partnering up with Parley for the Oceans as part of their Greener Goals initiative to commemorate Earth Day. This year, Columbus Crew SC will be rocking a light blue jersey made of 100% recycled plastic collected from beaches and coastal communities.
Parley for the Oceans is an organization that “addresses major threats towards our oceans, the most important ecosystem of our planet.” The collaboration between MLS, Adidas and Parley for the Oceans encourages fans to decrease plastic use and shift their attitudes and behaviors towards plastic pollution and our planet.
