Columbus Crew SC has secured some depth for its roster, announcing Thursday morning that it has signed 2018 MLS SuperDraft picks Ben Lundgaard and Luis Argudo.

The 22-year-old Lundgaard was the club’s first-round selection, going 21st overall, after four years and 70 appearances at goalkeeper for Virginia Tech. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound backstop had 23 shutouts at the collegiate level and was named First-Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference as well as Top Draw Soccer’s Best XI Third Team.
