Two young Columbus Crew SC stalwarts are being brought into the National Team. Goalkeeper Zack Steffen and midfielder Wil Trapp will join the national team for their game against Paraguay on March 27th.
Trapp, 25, has been a mainstay of the National Team’s January camp in recent years, but has only secured three caps, the last coming in January. Steffen, 22, has risen though the youth National Teams and made his debut with the senior team in January. Both are trying to become a part of the future National Team setup during a period of great transition after the U.
