Several Columbus Crew SC Academy players have attracted the attention of U.S. Soccer youth coaches the past couple months. Crew SC had three players join the U-14 camp in California in November and another player was called up to the U-16 camp for the end of December.
At the U-14 level, defender Dominic Briones, midfielder Elton Chifamba and forward Anthony Hernandez were among the 48 players called into the only U.S. Youth U-14 boy’s team for the November camp. Nicholas Pariano of Crew Wolves was also called into the camp that assesses the talent level of younger prospects around the country.
