It’s been a busy day for Columbus Crew SC youngsters Connor Maloney and Cristian Martinez, who are both heading out on loan this week.
Martinez is headed to FC Cincinatti and Maloney will go to Pittsburgh to play with Crew SC’s affiliate, the Riverhounds.
Martinez has yet to make an appearance for the Black & Gold this season, but was featured in the 18 last week against the Montreal Impact. In his previous tenure with FC Cincinnati he featured in the First XI for the Lions and recorded one shot on goal. He will be eligible for selection this week as FC Cincinnati take on Bethlehem Steel FC.
