In a statement released by FC Cincinnati this afternoon, Columbus Crew SC midfielder Cristian Martinez is headed to the USL club on a short-term loan. He will be eligible to play in this weekends match versus the Richmond Kickers. Martinez has made five appearances for Crew SC with his loan goal coming against the Philadelphia Union last season.
Martinez has previously seen action for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and will be in search of game minutes for Cincinnati. These will be crucial in the development of the young midfielder and could be a real asset for him.
