As reported last week by Massive Report, Columbus Crew SC officially completed a trade with Atlanta United for forward Romario Williams. The Black & Gold will send $100,000 in General Allocation Money to Atlanta for the forward. Williams will be eligible to play once the transfer window opens on July 9.
“We want to welcome Romario to Columbus Crew SC as he is a young forward who has already competed at an international level for Jamaica,” said Crew president Tim Bezbatchenko. “In addition to his international experience, Romario is a player who is familiar with MLS and will provide us with depth in our attack.
