The Crew SC forward crop is getting thinner after multiple reports have out of contract striker Aaron Schoenfeld officially signing with Israeli team Maccabi Netanya. Schoenfeld had been on trial for the past couple weeks.
The signing was reportedly dependent on the American striker not taking up a foreign player slot and apparently he was able to secure residency and make the move immediately.

The signing leaves Crew SC with a single professional striker in Kei Kamara.
