The United States will not take part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and that is a shame, but that does not mean the world’s most popular sporting tournament won’t be exciting.
We are six months away from the World Cup kicking off and on Friday morning, we get the drawing of teams placed into the groups they will compete in to begin the tournament in mid-June from Russia.
Each of the 32 team is seeded using the FIFA world rankings before the draw in order to keep balance in the groups (you can get full information about the draw here).
