COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Columbus Blue Jackets and USA Hockey announced today that tickets for the September 9 World Cup of Hockey 2016 pre-tournament game featuring Team USA and Team Canada at Nationwide Arena will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. Team USA, which will be led by Blue Jackets Head Coach John Tortorella, will open its training camp at Nationwide Arena on Monday, September 5.
The World Cup of Hockey 2016 is set for September 17-October 1 in Toronto. In addition to the U.S., the eight teams participating in the tournament will include Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Sweden, Team Europe and Team North America.
