Throughout Nathan Gerbe’s lengthy professional hockey career, he has displayed perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey every step of the way. Even more so since his return to North America in the winter of 2018. On January 24th, 2018, the Columbus Blue Jackets signed forward Nathan Gerbe to a one year, two-way contract which would expire at the end of the 2017-18 season. At the time, Gerbe was playing in his second season for Geneve-Servette of the Swiss National League (NLA).
