The first and only goal of the night came right at the three-minute mark from the IceHogs. Evan Mosey came out of nowhere and shot the puck past the stick of Anton Forsberg.
Don’t let the lack of scoring during last night’s game fool you. There were a lot of positives for the Monsters after the first goal. Unfortunately, Jeff Glass did not live up to his last name and played like a brick wall instead of a window pane.
The Monsters went 4-for-4 on the penalty kill. While on the kill, every single player stepped up to the plate.
