In addition to the usual skaters, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky joined Joonas Korpisalo on the other end of the rink for practice. After having three goalies on the ice yesterday, Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella said the coaching staff wanted Bobrovsky to participate in a full practice session today as he continues to get back into game shape.
“We wanted to try to get Bob more of a full practice,” Tortorella said. “(Ian Clark, goaltending coach) has done a lot of individual stuff with Mac. We don’t want to isolate him too much, but we had a couple of days here and we were trying to get Bob a little time there to have his own net during practice.
