Joonas Korpisalo
Korpisalo has had a poor start against the Chicago Blackhawks his last time out, but he was able to put up a quality start against a Jets team with a lot of young firepower. The Blue Jackets offensive production was what they needed in front of their young goalie, but Joonas played lights out which is needed occasionally. This gives Torts leeway to rest Bobrovsky.
The Defense
The Columbus Blue Jackets defense has continued to show that they are willing to continue to pinch up on the rush, and yesterday, it paid off dividends.
