The Columbus Blue Jackets gutted out at 1-0 win over the Western Conference leading Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. The win moved the Jackets to second place in the Metropolitan division. Columbus now sits two points ahead of both the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers. The win Thursday is the Jackets 40th on the season. This is the fourth time in franchise history the team has recorded 40 or more wins in a season.
