It’s been a heck of a season for the Columbus Blue Jackets so far. Records have been broken and another one just fell last night.
Standing room only in Nationwide Arena, and there was barely any of that. The Jackets last night set an attendance record with 19,337 fans packed into NWA.
With a capacity of 18,000, the extra 1,337 folks packed into Nationwide to create quite the atmosphere. The crowd was raucous last night and the CBJ should expect another crowd that size on Thursday.
The overtime thriller was not only a franchise record in attendance but also an NBCSN ratings record.
