Josh Anderson had an impressive rookie season in the NHL, posting 29 points (17 goals, 12 assists). His goal-scoring and physical nature led him see the ice more for the Columbus Blue Jackets than a lot of other 23-year-old, fourth-round draft picks usually do.

Despite this, talks between Anderson and the Columbus Blue Jackets have not made the kind of progress that either side should be happy with. TSN’s Bob McKenzie described the situation as “frosty” in a tweet Monday morning.

As for Josh Anderson in CBJ, who is also repped by Ferris, the two sides do not appear to be close at all.
